The NHS discount is something Browns have always wanted to be involved in. After a lot of meetings and hard work the chance to build a relationship finally came through. Advertising on the internal systems throughout the Durham hospitals means we are widely available to all.
We are the only Durham based salons to be in connection with the NHS.
We’re less than half a mile from Dryburn hospital and within a stones throw from Chester-le-Street's main hospital also.
The NHS have been hit extremely hard with cuts and pay freezes, and its great now to be able to offer these people a chance to get great hair for less. For the job they do we can safely say they deserve it.
We only need to see your NHS card once and we will store you on our system your discounts are automatically taken off every time you visit.

Sebastian lands at Browns

It’s the latest and most luxurious product line to sweep the world of hairdressing and Browns are one of the first to land it.
We caught up with salon owner Jonny about the new range.
“Sebastian has taken over, we have had many product lines through our doors, but none quite like this, we always strive to be different and being the only salon in the area to stock Sebastian we’ve certainly managed again”.
